A work I wrote for choir back in 2009. It was the winning piece in a University-wide composition competition. It is performed here by the Maynooth Chamber Choir conducted by Ruaidhrí Ó Dálaigh.
Tenebrae factae sunt, dum crucifixissent Jesum Judaei:
et circa horam nonam exclamat Jesus voce magna:
Deus meus, ut quid me dereliquisti?
Et inclinato capite, emisit spiritum.
V. Exclamans Jesus voce magna, ait:
Pater, in manus tuas commendo spiritum meum.
Et inclinato capite, emisit spiritum.

There was darkness over the earth when the Jews crucified Jesus:
and about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice:
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
And having bowed his head, he sent forth His spirit.
V. Jesus cried with a loud voice and said,
Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.
And having bowed his head, he sent forth His spirit.
Scores are available from the composer.
